Thursday, October 3 is National Poetry Day.
Celebrate by reading a favorite poem. (Mine’s “Rabbi Ben Ezra” by Robert Browning).
Whether you prefer the structure of haiku, or a sonnet, a narrative epic or ballad, or the flowing rhythms of free verse, there’s something for everyone.
Check out PoemHunter.com. You’ll find many different topics, including “joy,” “marriage,” and “love.”
You may even find a poem that you can include on your wedding – maybe as a ceremony reading, or on a sign near the entrance into the reception.
Hearts, Joy, Love!
