I realized I wanted to work with weddings and events when I was planning my own wedding and hosting other events in my family. It first started as a conversation with my fiancé. We were looking into venues and since already had run ends with other events we tried to plan. We have been in business 16 months. 13 of those months doing renovations.

The White House is a multi-purpose venue. We don’t just cater to a specific event. If you have an event 150 or less, we can host it. We are the first all white venue in Dayton. Some think we’re crazy but to me, that makes us different.

It would have to be Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi. The energy in the space would be awesome.

I wouldn’t say usual but definitely different. We were asked to host a dog birthday party.

15. What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned, and would pass along to others?
