After the wedding, sadly your bouquet will wilt and discolor. Of course, you can always have it preserved. But how about a wedding keepsake that’s a bit different? How about commissioning a piece of unique wedding artwork – a painting of your bridal bouquet?

Artistry by Adonna – Bridal Bouquet Paintings, Fine Art Prints, and Custom Artwork
Tell us a bit about yourself and your company.
Hi! I am an artist (painter) living in Thousand Oaks, California and have two young adult children. Painting is one of my passions, and flowers are my muse! I have been a flower lover ever since I can remember. They just make me happy. After a life-changing event (hello Divorce) I decided to go back to what gave me Joy. Painting. Thus, Artistrybyadonna was born. While flowers are my jam, I have done some landscapes and figurative work as well.
What is your background?
I grew up in the Cincinnati Tri-State area and studied Commercial Art in my high school years and completed training after high school.
Describe your service/product you provide and how you are different from the rest.
My unique offering that I provide is a “Keepsake Painting”. A painting of the bride’s wedding bouquet. I work from photos of the bride’s bouquet, so I can offer this gift idea to anyone at anytime. For instance, one bride commissioned me 4 years after her wedding and a groom contacted me 6 months after their wedding as he wanted to gift his bride the art for their one year anniversary. (1st anniversary is paper = canvas.. what a GREAT fit!) There are a number of live event painters, however, I haven’t seen that many offerings for a painting of the brides bouquet.
Describe your style/approach.
I work with acrylics mostly and what I love about them is that you can create vibrant or subtle work, thick or “painterly” strokes or loose and transparent like a watercolor. I am a big fan of Monet’s style and at the same time, love the strokes and motion of a Van Gogh
I like to intertwine loose abstract look, with a bit of detail. Once the bride/groom has contacted me, we discuss size and their vision. I provide a sketch for the initial ok, and then keep in contact with in-progress videos and photos. From start to finish, the process takes 4-6 weeks.
What words best describe you?
I smile at this question. A creative, introvert at times, sparkly sometimes, moody when the sun doesn’t shine. Overall, I’ve been told I have a great aura.
When did you first realize you wanted to work with weddings and create bridal bouquet paintings?
Working on a floral piece of art one day, I realized, oh my! I can create a very unique keepsake for someone that they can treasure forever. Your wedding day is a once-in-a lifetime moment filled with love, joy and unforgettable memories. Among the many cherished elements of this day, your bridal bouquet is a symbol of beauty and the beginning of a new chapter. A true reflection of your unique style and personality. I feel honored to be a part of someone’s love story….. a work of art that can be displayed in your home for all to admire.
How long have you been in business? Where are you located?
I have been promoting my art since 2018 and I am located in Thousand Oaks, Ca (which is about 45 min. North of Los Angeles).
Why did you start your business?
Painting gives me so much personal joy, and my hope is that that emotion is transferred onto the canvas. While there is nothing quite like the vibe original art gives you in your space, a print / merchandise of my work in your space, giving you a bit of joy, is why I started my business.
What is your favorite part of creating and providing bridal bouquet paintings?
Knowing that the couple will have a lasting reminder of the love they celebrated on their wedding day!
Do you have any new favorite products?
In addition to the keepsake painting, I have original work, prints, notecards, even mugs and tote bags. As a matter of fact, I have recently produced merchandise with a bride’s bouquet painting on them, and I am sooooo excited at how it turned out!
Anything else you want to share with us?
As beloved and as joyful as they are, flowers last only for a limited time. The beauty of your bouquet can last for generations with a “Keepsake Painting”. One glance at the art will always evoke the emotion of your wedding day.
How should engaged couples interested their very own bridal bouquet painting get in touch with you?
