A Journey from Wedding Planner to Wedding Blogger
Welcome! I’m Jean, a former wedding planner turned wedding blogger and author. My journey in the world of weddings began in 1994, and for 27 incredible years, I had the privilege of planning and coordinating weddings of all sizes, styles, and themes. From intimate gatherings of 20 to grand celebrations of 350, and loved every minute of it. You could say I’ve seen it all, but I prefer to say I’ve seen a lot (hey, if I’ve seen it all, where’s the fun, right?).
I’ve never been one for ‘cookie cutter’ weddings. My approach was always to start with tradition, then tweak and tailor it to reflect each couple’s unique vision. After all, your wedding should feel like your day, not just a checklist of what’s expected.
My Approach to Wedding Planning
With 27 years of experience as a wedding planning expert, I’ve had the opportunity to plan weddings that are truly one-of-a-kind. Whether you’re looking for practical wedding planning advice or inspiration for a non-traditional wedding, I’m here to help guide you with tips and ideas that are both creative and down-to-earth.
I started my blog in 2009 to share my passion for weddings with a broader audience, offering practical, no-nonsense advice and inspiration to couples at every stage of their wedding planning journey. Though I retired from wedding planning in 2021, my love for weddings continues to shine through in my writing, consulting, and digital products.
