If your heart’s in the right place and you’ve got something truly helpful and unique to share, I’d love to hear from you! Just be sure to check out my full guidelines below.
Do you have wedding wisdom to share or creative ideas for couples on their big day? Submit a guest post to the Weddings From The Heart Blog, and let your voice inspire our readers!
Here’s how:

Guest Posts Submissions Guidelines
• The Weddings From The Heart Blog is a family-friendly site. Any content (text, image, video, etc.) we find inappropriate, including the use of any vulgar/foul language, will be immediately refused.
• Know your audience. Our readers are couples planning their weddings who are looking for practical tips, creative ideas, and inspiration. Content should be wedding-related (including, but not limited to, décor ideas, DIY, planning tips, bridal beauty, etc.) and provide value to those planning their wedding.
• Original content only. Content must be original and unpublished. Submissions should not have been posted elsewhere, including on the author’s own website or other platforms. Copyright violations and plagiarism will not be tolerated.
• Make it insightful, not just informational. Go beyond basic tips. Share personal examples, unique viewpoints, lessons learned, or expert advice. Posts should feel like a conversation with someone who’s been there, not a copy-paste from the internet.
• Photography Guidelines:
• Include photos if possible—they help bring your post to life.
• You must own the rights or have written permission to use them.
• Images must be properly credited and linked.
• We do not accept images from paid stock sites like Shutterstock or iStock.
• Send actual image files (JPG or PNG) as attachments, or provide direct download links from sources such as Unsplash, Pexels, or the photographer’s website.
• Do not paste images directly into your document—they will not upload correctly into WordPress.
• No press releases or sales pitches. Refrain from press releases, promotions, or sales, as they will not be accepted.
• Be brand neutral. Guest posts should be brand-neutral and not serve as promotional content for a specific company, product, or service.
• External links are allowed but only if they genuinely add value.
• Excessive links to the same domain, product pages, or commercial sites may be edited or removed.
• Promotional or brand-driven links (especially if there are multiple) may be considered sponsored content, and subject to sponsored post rates.
• Please email me for the rate card if that’s your intent.
• One to two self-promotional links (such as to your own blog or resource) are allowed—typically one contextual link in the body (if highly relevant) and one in your author bio. (Excessive links will be deleted).
• Include a short author bio. This is your place to shine and share more about who you are and what you do.
• Proofread, please! Please take care to use proper grammar and spelling, and make sure there are no broken links. We will do some minor editing, however articles needing extensive editing will not be accepted.
• Include keywords or phrases you’re targeting to help us with SEO.
• Be patient. I schedule guest content in advance to give it proper attention. Your post may go live a few weeks after acceptance, but I’ll keep you updated on the timeline.
