• The Weddings From The Heart Blog is a family-friendly site. Any content (text, image, video, etc.) we find inappropriate, including the use of any vulgar/foul language, will be immediately refused.
• Our blog reaches couples planning their weddings who are looking for practical tips, creative ideas, and inspiration to make their day uniquely theirs.
• Content should be wedding related (including, but not exclusive to, décor ideas, DIY, planning tips, bridal beauty, etc.), and/or helpful to a person planning his/her/their wedding.
• Content must be original (copyright violations and plagiarism will not be tolerated).
• Photography Guidelines:
Including photographs or images in your article is highly recommended. To ensure we can use them, please follow these criteria:
• Ensure you own the rights to submitted photos or have written permission to use them.
• Photos must be properly credited and linked.
• Images from paid sources (e.g., Shutterstock, iStock) will not be accepted.
• Refrain from press releases, promotions, or sales, as they will not be accepted.
• Links to your blog/website are accepted and encouraged, as long as they are not excessive. (Excessive linking will be deleted).
• Author bios for the end of the article are welcome and encouraged.
• Please take care to use proper grammar and spelling. We will do some minor editing, however articles needing extensive editing will not be accepted.
• Please share the keyword(s) or keyword phrases you’ve focused on in your article to help ensure it reaches the right audience.
• Please be aware that since my content calendar is scheduled in advance, it may be a few weeks before an accepted article is posted.
• We carefully schedule our content calendar to ensure your post gets the attention it deserves. This may mean your article will be published a few weeks after acceptance, but we’ll keep you informed along the way!
