It’s time to take a look and see what 2017 wedding trends we’re going to be seeing.
Rustic/Barn Weddings
Yes, the desire for Rustic/Barn weddings is still going strong, and this will be a big 2017 wedding trend. But it’s more than mason jars and wooden slabs.
Couples are going for more sweet and whimsical, and vintage inspired. Sunflowers are a fun choice. We’ll see touches of burlap, lace, and distressed accent tables (for your guest book or wedding cake), and romantic lighting.

Softer/Muted Color Schemes
We’re seeing more pastels and neutrals – the wedding gown and bridesmaids dresses, the table linens, and the flowers – in weddings that range from rustic to elegant.

Non-Traditional Food and Beverage Choices
Food trucks (think gourmet croquettes, homemade pretzel bites, slow roasted pork belly, pizza), and artisanal beers from a local brewery will be big hits.

Yellow
From sunny sunflower to romantic pastels yellow is the “in” color, and will be used in flowers, attire, accents (ex. ribbons, napkins), and other décor.

Metallics
Mettallics are showing up all over, including wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses, the wedding cake, shoes, and vases. It’s no longer a choice between “gold or silver” but a mix of metallic colors (think warm golds, copper, polished silver, pewter, bronze).

Dark Gray
We’ll see this elegant color in men’s formalwear, bridesmaids dresses, table linens and accents.
