[Amanda and Ben’s Rustic Barn Wedding]
Amanda and Ben’s wedding took place on a beautiful, sunny September day at Rolling Meadows Ranch. This rustic wedding was a little whimsical, a little fun, and a lot romantic are the best ways to describe their wedding.

The bride and groom shared a “First Look” before their outdoor wedding ceremony. The First Look is one of my favorite parts of any wedding. Don’t you just love the joy and anticipation on their faces?
Their ceremony was held outside by the pond, the fountain making a beautiful backdrop to their wedding vows.
The Cocktail Hour took place on the barn’s wrap-around porch. Guests enjoyed pulled chicken on mini buns, BLT bites (stuffed cherry tomatoes topped with bacon – Yum!), and a popcorn bar.
After taking their seats for the reception, the dj had the guests play a wedding version of Apples to Apples to determine which table would be released next for the buffet line.
One of the couples’ favorite movies is Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas. If you haven’t seen the movie, you’re probably wondering what does a Christmas (Halloween??) movie have to do with a whimsical, romantic, rustic wedding.
Well, it includes one of the big screen’s favorite ‘romantic’ couple – Jack and Sally. Their wedding cake featured a custom made cake topper with Jack and Sally sharing a tender moment when they realize they were always meant to be together.
The couple shared a special Father/Daughter & Mother/Son dance. After their first dance and the groom’s dance with his mother, the bride danced with their 1 year old son, and the groom with their 5 year old daughter (who was the adorable flower girl).
