On top of that, you also need to make sure that you’re not seating anyone together who definitely won’t get along. We all have family members who don’t really see eye to eye. You ideally want these people as far away from each other as possible.
Kids Or No Kids?
You also need to think about whether kids are going to be at your wedding.
That can seem like a small detail, but it really isn’t. It can make the difference of having a reception that feels more of a formal evening or a family outing. It’s whether you want to include kid-friendly games/entertainment or if prefer a more sophisticated evening.
Be aware that while most guests will understand if you’re not inviting kids to your wedding, you may also lose a few invites from people who can’t find a babysitter or are offended that their little ones aren’t invited.
Mixing And Matching Colors
If you want your wedding to look elegant and attractive, you should think about your colors.
One option is to match different colors. For instance, you might have the ties of the groomsmen match the dresses of the bridesmaids perfectly. Another option is to use coordinating colors instead of the same colors. Pick a main color then accent and coordinate with a color or colors that look good with it.
