But, do they really work?
In a word – yes.
I tested them out (with a food thermometer), and found that a Whiskey Stone kept the beverage nice and cold (the temperature averaged 63 °F, and that’s even after letting it sit for an hour).
Sure, you can use ice cubes. But two problems with ice are:
1. Ice melts, diluting your beverage.
2. Also, (and this is going to sound weird, but bear with me), ice will make your Whiskey too cold. The Rock n’ Cold Whiskey Stones will keep your drink at the ideal temperature.
Who knew there was such a thing? Not me, until I did a search just to see what (if anything) would come up.
What did I find?
“Whisky is at its optimum taste at room temperature . . . 60-65 °F.”
And if you’re a wine drinker – the “ideal temperature should be somewhere around 65 °F”
It kept my tea an average of 177.1°F, so for you tea and hot chocolate drinkers, “hot beverages such as tea, hot chocolate, and coffee . . . at temperatures between 160 °F and 185 °F.”
Whiskey Stones keep beverages at the right temperature, letting you enjoy until the last drop. The are non-porous, odorless, and tasteless, so they won’t affect the flavor of your drink.
