The weddings they attend are always special, but what’s to separate one special day from another? You have to go the extra mile if you want your big day to stand out. You don’t have to do something expensive or extravagant. Here are 3 easy ways to make sure everybody remembers your wedding.

1. Include an activity that’s unique

If you want to make sure everybody remembers your wedding, you should think of an activity that’s unique, and perhaps gets them involved, even if only emotionally. Whether your wedding is a traditional church-based affair or a contemporary underwater wedding (yes, people do those), there are plenty of ways to make your big day stand out by thinking of activities that deviate from the norm.

Perhaps you could try out the shoe game. That’s becoming popular at many weddings. It’s a fun way to tests the married couple’s knowledge of one another, and even if you and your partner give different answers, it’s always produces a lot of laughs. You might even let your guests ask some questions.

Or maybe you could hire a hot air balloon or other unique mode of transportation to take you or your guests on a short ride.

2. Get the small details right

Of course, you don’t have to bombard your guests with gimmicks or something big to impress them. To make sure everybody remembers your wedding, getting the small details right will certainly help.

The traditional aspects of a wedding still matter. Take a look at these beautiful bridal bouquets. Stunning floral arrangements always stick out in people’s minds, so you don’t have to just choose standard bouquets or centerpieces.

You might also want to get some custom-made place cards for people at their tables during the wedding reception. If your budget allows, you can get even more creative and get their names etched into wooden name cards – that’s something they can keep. A small detail such as that would certainly stick in people’s heads. After all, you’d be giving them something they can take home with them.

3. Personalize the event for everyone

You can go a step further than stylish name cards waiting for guests at their tables. You could personalize every single invitation that you send out or handwrite letters that you leave in seats for your guests when they arrive (either at the ceremony or the reception).

By telling each friend and family member why they’re important to you and your partner, you’ll definitely make your wedding much more memorable for them. They’ll feel truly involved in your special day. Obviously, the letters for your parents should be the most heartfelt ones. So, if you want tears of joy, then you need to let your loved ones know how important they are to you, and how much it means to you that they’re present on your big day.
