“Will you marry me?” are four words commonly heard this time of year. (26% of all proposals take place between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day). So, after those words have been spoken, (hopefully followed by a resounding “Yes”), what other question is on the horizon? It’s “Will you be my bridesmaid?”

So, my thoughts on the Beauty Bride Spa Set? I think it’s an adorable way to ask your besties to be your bridesmaid. It’s pretty, but not too “girlie” or frou-frou. Each item is accented with polka dots and roses in metallic gold.
The spa set includes a pretty white rose cosmetic bag, and comes with these goodies:
• 1 lip balm
• 1 hand lotion
• 1 mint pack
• 1 matchbox
• 1 square candle tin
• 1 bath salt tube
My favorites?
• The candle has a soft floral fragrance (even my husband liked the scent!)
• Let me start by saying I’m a lip balm junkie, (I have several stashed around the house, in coat pockets, desk drawers, and at least 2 or 3 in my purse), and am picky about how they feel.This lip balm feels creamy but not heavy on the lips.
• The lotion makes your hands feel soft and smooth, but not slick (no funny residue). Have you ever used hand lotion, but can’t a door afterwards because your hands slip on the knob due to the lotion? That doesn’t happen with this lotion.
You have 3 lines of personalization on the label. You can put a pretty substantial message on there too, (up to 25 characters on the 1st line, up to 160 on the 2nd, and up to 40 characters on the bottom line). Although it’s called the “Beauty Bride Spa Set” this can be a fun gift for other occasions – “Will you be my bridesmaid?”, Happy Birthday!”, “Happy Mother’s Day!” or whatever occasion you have in mind.
The only thing that could be better is the box it comes in. Yes, it is nice and sturdy, (which is what we all want when we are shipping something), so it’s ideal if you plan to have it mailed. (more on that in a moment). But it is an unadorned cardboard box, and could use some dressing up, especially if you plan to ask in-person.
An added convenience is that you can have the spa kits shipped directly to your bridesmaids-to-be (so you don’t have to mess with printing out mailing labels and or wait in line to drop them in the mail).
