4 Ways To Add Style To Your Wedding!

Planning a wedding is a wonderful, exciting time, but it can also be seriously stressful. One of the most common causes of stress when it comes to their wedding is that couples look through wedding blogs, magazines, styled shoots, and pinterest boards and assume that there’s no way that they’ll ever be able to make their wedding as fabulous as the ones that they see. After all, weddings are expensive and complicated and it can feel like there’s no way to make yours truly perfect. However, the truth is that there really are plenty of things that you can do to make your wedding stylish and wonderful. It just takes a little bit of effort and some research. With that in mind, here are four things that you can do to celebrate your wedding in style.

So, on to 4 Ways To Add Style To Your Wedding:

1. Pick A Theme

One of quickest ways to leave your wedding feeling kind of uninspired is the lack of a theme. Finding the right theme for your wedding is always a good idea. Now, this doesn’t mean that you need to turn the whole thing into a novelty, and have every single detail theme-related. Instead, having a theme provides a basis for cohesion in your planning decisions, and lets you create a consistent style for every aspect of it. You can go all-out if you want, or just have little inspired touches.

Whether it’s something rustic and natural, or a glamorous ’20s inspired affair, finding the right theme not only gives your wedding a lot more personality but it also provides you with a much better defined jumping-off point.

2. Keep Your Guests Fed

Food is one of those things that is absolutely essential for any wedding but can easily get brushed to one side during the planning stage. It’s not just a matter of making sure that your guests are fed, but you want of offer food choices that will really make an impact. Something like Barilla Bay oysters is a bit more unusual for a wedding catering option but it’s something that will really leave an impression. Not only that but often places that offer catering may even have venue options that you may want to check out.

Or you may want to give a new spin to the familiar. Instead of macaroni and cheese, serve fried mac and cheese bites. Or have a mashed potato station where guests can add their own toppings such as shredded cheese or bacon bits.

Just remember that if you do provide food choices that are unusual or unexpected, to also offer some familiar selections as well.

3. Make The Entertainment Count

A wedding is, at the end of the day, a celebration. To achieve a joyous energy level, and create the most exciting, joyful atmosphere possible, the best way you can do that is to choose entertainment that will have a real impact. A live band is one of the best ways to ensure that your guests have the best possible time. A great DJ can do the same and that gives you the chance to be far more particular about the kind of playlist you’re looking for to fit with the theme of your big day. Be sure to talk with your DJ or bandleader about the vibe you want to capture for your wedding celebration.

4. Capture The Moment

The purpose of your photographer and videographer doesn’t really add to the feel of your wedding day (not in the way that the food, the entertainment, and the decorations do). However, you don’t want them to take away from your day either. Hiring a professional photographer who has experience shooting weddings is the best way to go.

With a professional wedding photographer and videographer, you will have someone to capture all the moments of your day, from the big moments (walking down the aisle, the kiss, cutting the cake), and the smaller moments (your guests enjoying themselves on the dance floor, close-up shots of your beautiful centerpieces). After all, you want to hold onto the memories of your big day for as long as possible and there are few better ways to do just that than with some gorgeously composed, high-quality, photographs.

And with their experience behind the lens, you can have fabulous images that will rival the ones out of the blogs and magazines. That way, you can not only look back on the most important day of your life but you have beautiful mementoes that you can hang on your walls to commemorate it forever.

But, one of the most important things that you have to remember when it comes to how to add style to your wedding and making it as wonderful as possible is that there really are only two people whose opinion matters: you and your partner. After all, this is your big day so all that should matter is whether or not you feel like it’s the kind of wedding that you want.

Don’t worry about what anyone else might think or how you can make sure that it’s the kind of wedding that pleases everyone. Put thought into your planning choices, from your theme, your food, your entertainment, and everything else, and base your decisions on what you and your partner want. In the end, if you and your partner are happy, that’s all that matters.
