It’s easy to forget but important to remember that a wedding doesn’t just need to be great for you and your partner. You also need to ensure that you make your wedding fun for all the guests that are attending. Depending on your wedding preferences, this could include kids too. So what can you do to ensure that your wedding is fun for all?
Here are four ways to make your wedding fun:
1) Invest In A Photobooth
You’re probably thinking of hiring a professional photographer for your wedding. This is something of a must as one of the services that you need to include in your budget, so you’ll have those wonderful memories afterwards. However, it’s definitely not the only possibility for pictures that you can consider. You could also hire a photobooth.
With a photobooth, guests can jump in throughout the evening and take lots of fun pics. These can all be saved and uploaded onto a digital platform after the wedding. It’s a great way to bring people together and help them remember the fun they had at your celebration once the wedding is over.
Or, you can use Photo Booth Alternatives that are ideal for couples who don’t want a typical photo booth. They are great no matter the event, age of guests, or party preference. There are so many alternatives to the traditional photo booth, such as a VW photo bus, 360 photos, and video clips. Your guests will enjoy getting involved in the fun.
2) Let People Choose The Music
Usually, it’s common for people to hire a DJ for their wedding. But it’s not the only option available to you. Depending on how you envision your reception, and taking the people involved into consideration, you can set it up so that guests can choose any song that they want to play. This is going to keep your wedding playlist fresh and interesting, filled with different genres of music.
You might also want to think about encouraging people to bring their own personal devices. In doing so, they can play music that they have saved that could be great for your wedding reception and that others are sure to love dancing too.
3) Game Night
At your reception, you can go beyond simply letting guests dance the night away. Instead, why not set up games that everyone can get involved in? There are lots of great game options for your wedding. For instance, you might want to get yard games such as connect four, jenga, or corn toss. You can even get personalized cornhole bags for each one of your guests. They can use them at your reception and then take them home as a cool little souvenir from your special day.
4) Hire An Entertainer
Finally, you are going to have a lot to do on your wedding day, and won’t have time to be focused on keeping everyone else entertained and having fun. To avoid this issue, think about hiring some other entertainment beyond playing music. If you’re hiring a DJ, make sure they will also act as MC to keep things rolling. You can also get specialized entertainment such as a magician to stroll around doing up-close tricks, or caricature artist to do fun drawings of your guests. That’s sure to leave a lasting impression, in more ways than one.
We hope this helps you make your wedding fun and one that your guests are sure to be delighted with.

Love all the ideas! hiring an MC also seems like a good idea 🙂
Thanks. Some people think the DJs only role is to play the music. While this is a big portion of what they do, being an MC and keeping guests informed/directed and keeping a good flow for the evening is crucial.
