1. When did you first realize you wanted to work with weddings?
Working with Museum Catering and Peach Tree Ward, I realized that this was something I wanted to do. I helped with designing over the top events and weddings for non-traditional couples who loved our uniqueness. So, I decided to get certified as an event planner and then as a wedding planner.

3. How did you get into event planning/coordination?
I coordinated my birthday along with my sister’s surprise engagement party and my brother’s themed wedding, and loved it.

Over 5 years
5. Why did you start your business?
I love what I do and wanted to share my ideas and uniqueness with others.
6. Describe your service/product you provide and how are you different from the rest.
There’s A-La-Carte service where couples can pick what they need help with or Day-of coordination where our planners tie up loose ends for the day or Partial Planning where one of our planners step in and guide you through the planning.
7. Describe your style/approach.
My approach is simple – A free 30–min consultation which I use to build a profile and gives me enough information about your wedding. Face to face is followed.
8. What is your favorite part of your job?
Pulling everything together and putting a smile on both couples’ and guests’ faces.

Everything
10. What’s the best way to find the ideal wedding planner/coordinator?
It’s best to get referrals from past couples or read reviews. Talk with the planner before signing a contract.
11. What is the most unusual request you’ve had?
Barter my service for items that the bride purchased…

14. When you are not working on a wedding or event, what do you like to do for fun?
I like to reread old books to see what meaning or new meaning will I get this time around.
15. Do you have any final advice for brides and grooms?
A guest blogger shared her valuable advice with me recently. She said relationships are a give and take. Never go to bed mad with each other and always tune in to each other. If you don’t, you will miss the little things that brought you guys together in the first place.
