So that very important day is coming up, and afterwards you’ll want to enjoy all those wedding memories. But how can you ensure that you will remember all those moments? It’s understandable that you’re probably getting more stressed. This is totally normal, so embrace the nerves – it’s adrenaline and that’s a good feeling to have. But your wedding day should be cherished, so don’t allow yourself to get overwhelmed.

So many magical moments will happen throughout your wedding day, from the second you wake up, to the second you lay your head on your pillow next to your new husband or wife.

Weddings aren’t just about signing a piece of paper and being legally married. It’s about showing one another, and everyone else, how committed you are to that one person. That you promise to always be there, through the good and the bad. That you’ll always be faithful, and essentially want to be with them for the rest of your life.

It’s a seal that you want everyone to know about, because it’s such a big deal, and definitely something to be celebrated.

So. . .

How can you ensure that you will remember all those moments? How will you recall those wedding memories? There will be so much going on, and it will be hard to take in everything all in one go. But luckily, it’s not impossible.

Here are two of the best ways to create (and remember) those oh so special times.

Recall Your Wedding Memories With:

1. Photographs

It may seem rather obvious, and yet a lot of people only bring in a photographer to cover the just the wedding ceremony. This is where so many people go wrong!

While there is definitely a lot to capture as you walk down the aisle and share your vows to one another . . .

. . . But what about your first dance? Cutting the cake? Your friends and family laughing at your father’s speech? The secret kisses around the corner? The whisper of “I love you” in your partner’s ear?

Get the right Wedding Photographers, and they will be there at the right time to get all those glimpses of your big day. So never underestimate the power of photography – it’s the thing we go to to find comfort in our future, and reminisce about the past.

2. Guestbook

Leaving a guest book out for all of your wedding guests to write in is a wonderful way to look back over your incredible day. Use a guest book that has space for everyone to write in a little message, not just sign their name.

It will be like seeing things through everyone else’s eyes, other than just your own. So while you will be experiencing your wedding day, you will get to see what your guests saw too.

This can be a really magical encounter for both you and your partner. It’s a lovely thing to look at the morning after your big day – or even on your honeymoon while you’re relaxing together sipping cocktails on the beach.

Encourage all of your guests to take a moment and write in it. You can have your DJ or MC mention this during dinner, and also give guests another reminder later in the evening, then people can go off and share their feelings during the party.
