1) A Welcome Drink

A nice touch is to offer your guests a drink as they enter the venue.

Depending on the style of your event, it can be a glass of champagne or even a fun signature drink. And don’t forget to offer the non-alcoholic versions for those who don’t or can’t partake in alcohol so nobody misses out on the fun.

2) Amazing Food

One of the most important things for most wedding guests is the food. Fortunately, choosing the food for your wedding reception is one of the more enjoyable parts of planning the wedding, as you get to have food tastings and try out different menu choices.

However, your guests’ food preferences probably aren’t the same as yours. You’re bound to have some vegetarians, vegans, and other’s with allergies or other dietary needs. To make sure that your guests are going to be happy with the menu selections you will need to cater for those needs. Not to worry, as most caterers are used to this and can suggest wonderful food options.

If you choose a live band, go with one which can perform a number of different styles. Or you could get a DJ who can definitely play different artists and styles, and play your guests’ requests.

However you do it, you’ll want to ensure that the music is suitable enough for everyone, from the dancers in the crowd, to those who prefer to sit back and watch, otherwise it is much less likely that people will actually enjoy the day as much as you might hope they would.
