Are there wedding services that some of your guests can help out with (and reduce the cost for you)? Why not ask if they’d be willing to do this for you?
Perhaps have a friend take your photos if they’re a hobbyist or professional photographer, or ask your cousin to bake your wedding cake. These are just a couple things you can ask for help with that you’ll actually benefit from on the day and save money at the same time.

When you’re looking for your wedding venue, it’s tempting to go for beautiful locations, but when you look beyond photos, you see that many of these places are nothing more than an average room that they’ve jazzed up with great decorations and lighting (and maybe even a marked up price). If you’re somewhat creative or know where to find good deals on wedding decorations then you could easily do this yourself by booking your own venue such as a church hall or community center. You’ll pay nowhere near as much and will often find that some of these buildings can be quite unique and charming.
3. Think Beyond A Sit-Down Meal
The catering is one of the biggest costs of a wedding, so a good way to cut some costs is to offer people a buffet option with finger foods that everyone loves. This is a far more relaxed style, and can still be beautiful, but with a lower price tag.
4. Hire Your Own Service Providers
When you’re choosing your venue, find out their policy on service providers. Many venues offer their in-house service providers or require that you choose from their preferred list. This can limit your choices and add to the overall cost. A good way to save some money is by being able to hire your own people. There are also many venues that will let you bring in whoever you want. You can find many online such as party bartenders for hire if you take some time to shop around online.
