1. When did you start your business?
Business began informally in 2015, as something to do for friends and family events. It later turned into a hobby by experimenting with various spirits, mixers and frozen concoctions. It was in 2021 that I decided to formalize this business, as I noticed there was a true need for it in the entertainment industry.
2. What made you start your business?
Well after I was asked to bartend an event for a friend of mine, however, I’ve had a passion for the service industry for several years. In my younger years I worked in a bar setting and quickly learned that wasn’t the space for me and my talents, so that passion and creativity blossomed into what it is today.
3. Describe your service/product you provide and how are you different from the rest?
Mangos Mobile Beverage Co. provides bartending services, signature cocktail creation, as well as a menu of some of our non alcoholic signature beverages that can be purchased for you event. Outside of mobile bartending services, we also have a 1972 converted horse trailer which is our newest bar we’ve added to the fleet. We pride ourselves in exceptional services and an unforgettable drink catering experience for yourself and your guests.
4. When did you first realize you wanted to work with weddings?
Honestly, I’ve always personally loved weddings. I love the planning piece, and the celebration. I knew when finding my niche in the industry that weddings were the route I would take given the level of service I know that myself and my team provides.
5. What is your favorite part of a wedding?
I love the reception, it’s the block of time when people are their very authentic selves, and it’s just FUN!
6. What’s the most memorable event (doesn’t have to be a wedding) you’ve done?
All of my events have left me with a memorable moment, but I think the one that stands out the most is doing this massive block party over the summer, it was a youth event, and all mocktails and frozens were served. The kids lit up at the sight of the cute drinks, the turnout was amazing and it was for a great cause.
7. Just for fun; what is your favorite Mangos Bartending cocktail?
My absolute favorite is the Mangos Lavender Lemonade!
8. Where do you go for inspiration?
I favor instagram and most recently “drink books.”
9. What are your favorite upcoming trends?
I’m all over the over the top dry ice displays, I love them for a good photo op!

10. What’s the most unusual request you’ve had?
It’s hard to say that I’ve had anything unusual – after watching the new Netflix series Drink Masters, I am finding myself stepping outside of my comfort zone with creating specialty cocktails to present to future clients.
11. What’s your favorite part of your job?
I love the execution and bringing the vision to life.
12. What is your dream cocktail for a wedding (or other event)?
The Classic French 75, it’s a personal favorite, and overall a very sophisticated cocktail.
13. If you could provide bartending for any celebrity wedding (past, present or future), who would be the lucky couple?
Oh, I would throw my name in the hat for Beyoncé’s wedding for sure.
14. Is there a mistake couples sometimes make regarding the bar?
I haven’t personally any issues this year, last season there were couples who waited until the last minute and were delayed with booking a bartending service after finding out that alcohol isn’t permitted in their venue without a bartender and the appropriate insurance.
15. Do you have any final advice for engaged couples?
Hire a day of coordinator, and lock in vendors early on!
16. Besides weddings, what other types of events do you do?
I do birthdays, corporate events, drink displays for special occasions – you name it!
17. Anything else you want to share with us?
Outside of mobile bartending, we do offer specialty lemonades for purchase! New for the 2023 season, we now offer an unlimited soft drink package if couples do not want the burden of having to store unused soft drinks after their wedding or event.
